Hugo C. Saavedra, 87, was called by the Lord on October 17, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elisa M. Saavedra, parents: Narciso & Consuelo Saavedra, siblings: Eulalia (Jose) Rodriguez, Elva Saavedra, Zulema (Oliver) Sanchez, & Juan de Dios Saavedra.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Hugo Cesar Saavedra Jr., Raymundo Saavedra, Consuelo (Arnoldo) Garcia, & Jose Juan Saavedra, grandchildren: Vanessa, Hugo Armando, & Bryanna Saavedra & Erika, Andy, & Angelisa Garcia, great-grandson, David Gutierrez IV, siblings: Maria Luisa (+Odie) Arambula, & Narciso (+Guadalupe) Saavedra, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 5 pm to 9 pm, with a rosary being recited at 7 pm.
Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment are to follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
