Hector Ramos

Hector Ramos, 72, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Hector lived a life marked by quiet strength, steady determination, and a warm spirit that put others at ease.

For many years, Hector worked as a security guard, a position well suited to his dependable nature and strong sense of responsibility. He carried himself with calm confidence and took pride in his work, earning the respect of those around him.

Hector was known for his good humor and the sense of peace he carried with him. He truly loved talking to people — whether sharing stories, exchanging ideas, or simply enjoying a friendly conversation. He valued meaningful connection and took genuine interest in others, building lasting friendships over the years. Time spent talking, laughing, and reflecting with family and friends was something he deeply treasured.

He was also strong in his faith, which guided him throughout his life and gave him comfort and strength. His beliefs were a quiet but steady foundation, shaping the way he lived and the way he treated others. Above all, Hector cherished his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Maria Sonia, and his beloved grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, who held a special place in his heart and remained an important part of his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, his father, and his brothers, Jose Francisco Ramos, Ramiro Ramos, and Juan Gerardo Villarreal.

Hector will be remembered for his steady presence, his thoughtful nature, his strong faith, and the warmth he shared so freely. His memory will live on in the love of his family and in the many conversations and moments shared with those who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 7 to 11:30am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary willbe held at 10am. We will be departing the funeral home chapel at 11:30am to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where a Mass will be held at 12 noon.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
