He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus & Marciana Berrones, brother, Enrique Berrones, & daughter, Janeth Yvonne Berrones.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maria Irma Berrones, children: Gilberto Berrones Jr. (Maria Candelaria), Jose R. Berrones (Janet), Erik Berrones (Kelley), Lisbet G. Berrones, Irma M. Berrones, & Elizabeth Berrones, siblings: Juan Berrones (Socorro), Gabriel Berrones (Nelda), Genaro Berrones (Olvido), Ismael Berrones (Juany), Jesus Berrones (Yolanda), Cruz Martin Berrones (Isabel), Francisca Garza (Nalo), Reyna Berrones, Maria Alicia Castellanos (Jose Maria), Benita Gomez (Jesus), & Carlos Berrones (+Maria), grandchildren: Gilbert Berrones III, Anthony Berrones, Esmeralda De Leon, Evelyn Salinas, & Jonathan Berrones, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 5 pm to 9 pm where a rosary will be held at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 8:45 am on Thursday, November 17, 2022 to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:15 am.  .

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Gilberto Berrones Jr., Jose Berrones, Erik Berrones, Gabriel Berrones, Jesus Berrones, & Cruz Martin Berrones..
