Gabriel Loreto Verdiguel

Gabriel L. Verdiguel, 61, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in Laredo, Texas surrounded by loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mario Verdiguel Corona; mother, Celia Hernandez Verdiguel; siblings, Leopoldo Verdiguel and Jose Angel Verdiguel (Diana). Left to cherish his memory are his children: Gabriel Verdiguel (Edna Iris), Gabriela Alejandra Verdiguel, Mario Nicolas Verdiguel (Itzel G. López); grandchildren, Ángel Verdiguel, Axel Chapa, Iris Olivia Verdiguel, Gabriel Verdiguel Jr.; siblings, San Juana Verdiguel, Celia Verdiguel Martínez (Brigido Ramos Martínez), Guadalupe V. "Lupita" Luna (Joe S.), Luis Manuel Verdiguel (Melissa), Jorge Verdiguel, sister in law, Dora Verdiguel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be: Gabriel Verdiguel, Mario Nicolas Verdiguel, Ángel Verdiguel, Axel Chapa, Raymond Martínez, José Ángel Verdiguel Jr., José Ángel Verdiguel III, and Juan Burgos.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services from 5 pm to 9 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm.

Funeral services will continue Monday, October 5, 2026, at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services starting at 7 am. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 am to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Chrisitan Burial at 9 am.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
