Mr. Francisco Javier Reyes, 74, entered eternal rest on May 21, 2025, at 6:15 pm in Laredo, Texas. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Francisco Javier was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico in 1950. He was born to Zaragoza and Cenona Reyes. He worked for Gamez Construction and Armadillo Construction for 20 years and LISD for another 20 years. He has enjoyed retirement for 12 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Zaragoza and Cenona Reyes, his brothers Zaragoza, Juan, Isidro, Artermio and sister, Paula.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife: Maria Julia Reyes; his children: Miguel Angel (Melissa) Muñoz, Christina (Roman) Breland; sister in laws: Sylvia (Antonio) Cisneros, Isabel Muñoz, Guillermina Muñoz†; nieces and nephews: Julio, Alejandro, Antonio, Mario, and Sylvia Cisneros, and Michelle Muñoz; his 2 granddaughters: Daniella Breland and Mayarit Muñoz; his surviving siblings: Guadalupe Reyes, Rosario Reyes, and Maria Gonzales; and various other unnamed family members.

He was dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed. He will be cremated, and his services will be handled privately by the family.
