Francisco Nieto Leija, 77, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his son, Juan Mariano Nieto; parents, Mariano Nieto & Maria Cristina Leija; and numerous siblings.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 55 years of marriage, Maria Irene Nieto; daughter, Perla (Jose) Ruiz; grandson, Sebastian Lolek Ruiz; granddaughter, Keila Viera; siblings, Amalia Nieto, Ninfa Nieto, Victoria Nieto, Hortencia Nieto, Ofelia Nieto, Angela Nieto, nieces, nephews, other reltives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 5 to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary and Liturgy of the Word will be held at 7pm.

Cremation will be held at a later date.
