Francisca "Kika" Zapata

Francisca "Kika" Zapata, 72, was called by the Lord on April 19, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan de Dios Zapata; parents, Pilar & Maria Aguilera.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Maria de Lourdes (Juan) Vazquez, Claudia Veronica Zapata, Sara (Mario) Garcia, & Sandra (Valentin) Palomares, grandchildren: Melissa, Carla, Diana, Clarissa, Jessica, Jaqueline, Jennifer, Johnathan, Abigail, Adalberto, Diego, Valentin Jr., Kassandra, Juan Enrique, Jesus, Ricardo, numerous great-grandchildren, brothers: Jose Marcos Aguilera, Jose Santos Aguilera & Roberto Aguilera, sister, Olga Colchado, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The family will gather on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm where a Rosary will be offered for the repose of his soul at 7 pm.

The funeral procession will depart the chapel at 9:30 am to Santo Niño Catholic Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Vazquez, Armando Velasquez, Mario Garcia, Valentin Palomares, Valentin Palomares Jr, Juan Enrique Palomares, Jesus Palomares, Adalberto Garcia, & Johnathan Flores.
