Esperanza Gutierrez

Esperanza Gutierrez, 89, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Gutierrez; children, Enrique Guerrero, Rosa Rivera; parents, Librado & Herlinda Navarro; siblings, Librado Navarro Jr., Manuel Navarro, and Estela Lucio.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Maria Teresa Hernandez (Juan), Esperanza Ortiz (Tony), Martha Gutierrez, Gloria Carbajal (Jose Luis); 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 5 to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary and Liturgy of the Word will be held at 7pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 7 to 8:30am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. We will be departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30am to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass at 9am.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Juan A. Gonzalez Jr., Juan M. Hernandez Jr., David Hernandez, Matthew Ibarra, Benito Galvan, Christopher A. Hernandez, Juan M. Hernandez III, Juan Carlos Carvajal
