Enrique H Villarreal

Enrique H. Villarreal, known as "Kike", passed away on July 12, 2026, in his hometown of Laredo, Texas, at the age of 91.

Born on October 21, 1935, in Laredo, Texas, Enrique lived a life marked by resilience, hard work, and a love for the outdoors. A skilled welder and handyman by trade, he earned the respect of those around him through his dedication and strong work ethic. Whether he was on the job or spending time outdoors hunting, Enrique found purpose in working with his hands and enjoying nature.

Enrique will be remembered for his quick wit, warm sense of humor, and ability to make others laugh. He was the kind of person who enjoyed good company, valued friendship, and left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him. He was a hardworking man, an avid outdoorsman, and, above all, a good friend.

He is survived by his spouse, Florangel Villarreal; his brother, Arturo Lozano; and his children, Aldo Villarreal, Antonio Villarreal, Arturo Villarreal, Brian Villarreal, Henry Villarreal, Isabel Villarreal, Jake Villarreal, Mike Villarreal, Ricardo Villarreal, Marcia Ramirez, and Carmelita Batiz.

Enrique's legacy lives on through the friendships he cherished, and the countless memories he created over a lifetime. His strength, humor, and spirit will continue to be remembered by all whose lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and held in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services from 6 pm to 9 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm.
