Elena Salazar, 93, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marcos Aguilar & Juana Sanchez; grandson, Jesus Gonzalez; siblings, Thomas Aguilar, Lilia De Luna.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Juan Jose Salazar; children, Julian (Priscilla) Salazar, Juan Jose Salazar Jr., Roberto (Bertha+) Salazar, Rosalinda (Eddie) Gonzalez, Martin Salazar, Maria Sanchez, Marcos (Rebecca) Salazar, Francisca (Juan) Polanco, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren .

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 5 to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be held at 7pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 7 to 8:30am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. We will be departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30am to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass at 9am.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.
