Edgar Salazar

Edgar Salazar, 28, passed away on September 4, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Guillermo Alvarez & his paternal grandparents, Francisco Salazar Torres & Maria Catalina Lopez.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jayden Cabral, Edgar Salazar Jr., & Haylie Salazar, mother, Mirna Alvarez, father, Gabriel Jaime Salazar, siblings: Mirna Salazar, Gabriel Jaime Salazar Jr., Jennifer Salazar, & Marissa Salazar, maternal grandmother, Andrea Zamora, girlfriend, Claudia Elizondo, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ian Saldivar, Julio Garcia, Carlos Escobar, Joel Alvarez, David Alvarez, & Jaime Salazar Jr.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from the funeral home to Santo Niño Catholic Church where a mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Procession departs at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will be held at the Laredo City Cemetery.
