Diana "La Big D" Leyva

Diana "La Big D" Garcia Leyva, 58, was called by the Lord on March 30, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Beatriz Diaz; parents, Juan & Beatrice Garcia; brothers, Juan & Fermin Garcia.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jose Rodriguez, children, Melinda Leyva (Eleazar Garcia), Jose Luis Leyva, Jennifer Alonzo, & San Juanita Alonzo (Wilmer Ramirez), numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren, siblings: Maria Morales, Enriqueta Ceron, Gloria Felix, Rosalinda Perez, Irene Jalomo, Anita Aguilar, Raul Garcia, Armando Garcia, & Luis Garcia, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive condolences on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm with a Rosary to be conducted at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart at 8:00 am on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Funeral mass to be celebrated at 8:30 am. 

Interment will  follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jorge Diaz, Jorge Diaz Jr., Jose Luis Diaz, Joe Guzman, Ramiro Rodriguez, Janie Izquierdo, Wilmer Ramirez, Eleazar Garcia.
