David Galvan

David Galvan, 47, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Salvador and Maria Elena Galvan; brother, Jose Luis Galvan; and sisters, Norma Alicia Galvan and Marissa Rodriguez.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, David Jacob Galvan, Sophia Galvan, Alexa Galvan, and Daniel Galvan; the mother of his children, Cecilia Schunior; siblings, Ramona Lopez (Samuel), Salvador Galvan Jr. (Maria Guadalupe), Denise Galvan, Abraham Galvan, Francisco Galvan, and Jennifer Galvan; stepmother, Maricela Galvan; brother-in-law, Armando Rodriguez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Jacob Galvan, with additional pallbearers to be announced.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services from 5 pm to 9 pm. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm.

Visitation will continue on Friday, September 11, 2026 beginning at 7 am. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 am to St. Vincent Catholic Church for a mass at 10 am.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
