Daniel "Buckwheat" Castaneda, 39, was called by the Lord on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco & Graciela Castañeda.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maricela Castañeda, his sons: Daniel Castañeda Jr. & David Castañeda, grandson, Derek Matthew Castañeda, siblings: Francisco Castañeda, Jose Castañeda, Raul Castañeda, Maria Graciela Castañeda, Maria Dolores (Ricardo Guerra) Castañeda, Maria Lazara Castañeda, Adriana Castañeda, Diana Castañeda, & Linda Gloria (Francisco Bais) Hinojosa, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Saturday, July 11, 2015, from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78043, where a liturgical service will commence at 7:00pm.
