Carlos Ruben Zavala

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Carlos Ruben Zavala, 61, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, on January 18, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Estanislao & Margarita Zavala; siblings, Miguel, Lorenzo, Teresa, Pedro, and Maria Zavala, whom he is now joyfully reunited with.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and family. Carlos is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Maria Leonor Zavala; his cherished daughter, Erica (Samuel) Garcia; his adored grandchildren, Eric, Ryan, Samantha, Sammy, and Sonny Garcia; siblings, Raul, Leonardo, Belen, Mario, and Margarita Zavala. His memory will be lovingly carried by his nieces and nephews, Carmen, Hilda, Karla, Horacio, Jennifer, Ashley, Josue, Estanislao, and Jocelyn Zavala, along with many other extended family members and friends.

Carlos dedicated his life to his family, finding his greatest joy in moments spent with his wife, watching his daughter build a life of her own, doting on his 5 grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. He was a man of steady presense, quiet strenght, deep faith, and his influence as a brother and uncle will deeply be missed.

His memory will be held forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Services will be held privately by the family. He will be deeply missed.
