Carlos Hernandez

Mr. Carlos Hernandez, 74, passed away peacefully in his beloved home in Laredo, Texas, on Monday, September 14, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Hernandez Prieto Sr., and Juanita Carrillo Hernandez.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Maria Teresa Morales; daughters, Kimberly Hernandez, Blanca Alicia De Leon, and Cynthia Michelle Rodriguez; sons, Charlie Hernandez, Jr., Cesar Hernandez, Carlos Rumaldo Rodriguez, and Josue Ruben Hernandez; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings, Rodolfo Hernandez (+Delfina), Jesus Hernandez, Juan Jose Hernandez (Maria Hernandez), Paula Villanueva (Rafael Villanueva), Mari Hernandez (Roberto Hernandez), Elva Salazar, and Yolanda Perez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Mr. Hernandez will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the memories he created throughout his life. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services from 5 pm to 9 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 pm.

Services will conclude at the end of visitation. A cremation will be held at a later date.
