Carlos Ivan Hernandez

Mr. Carlos Ivan Hernandez, 56, entered into rest on June 16, 2024, in Laredo, Texas. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dianira "Dee" Hernandez; father: Antonio Hernandez Jr.; brother: Antonio Hernandez III.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children: Rebecca (Jesus Oviedo) Hernandez, Jaime (Veronica Lopez) Hernandez, and Joseph (Maria Sarmiento) Hernandez; grandchildren: Arianna Madrigal, Fermin Madrigal, Amelia Oviedo; mother: Maria Rosa Hernandez; siblings: Rosa Canales, Norma (Alberto) Sandoval, Dr. Ellie Hernandez, Claudia (Rick) Reyes; his four-legged child, Junior "Yuñor" Hernandez, as well as an extended family of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 pm.

Visitations will continue on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 8 to 10 am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremations, where a Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at 9 am. Procession departs at 10 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery for a graveside service at 10:15 am.
