Aurora R. Deleon

Aurora Ramos Deleon, 92, entered into eternal rest in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family. 

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and matriarch, Aurora dedicated her life to nurturing her family with deep faith, grace, and unwavering strength. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pedro Deleon; her parents, Andres and Francisca Ramos; and her siblings, Pedro Deleon and Roberto Deleon.

Left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy are her children, Aurora (Tomas) Varela, Enrique (Veronica) Deleon, Alma Deleon, David (Leticia) Deleon, and Gilberto Deleon; her daughters-in-law, Graciela Deleon and Guadalupe Deleon; and her grandchildren, Alma Delia, Yesenia, Rita, Enrique Jr., Mayra, Erick, Veronica, Diana, Pedro Jr., Graciela, Aracely, Griselda, Hazel, Anahi, Roberto Jr., Roxana, Rolando, Roel, Rodolfo, David A., Alejandra, Leonardo, Gilberto Jr., Anselmo, and Marco, along with numerous extended family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. 

Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 8, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 AM to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. 

Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
