Amalia M. Herrera, 70, passed away on December 04, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilberto Herrera; parents, Cecilio Martinez & Leonor Sifuentes; siblings, Cecilio Martinez, San Juana Hinojosa.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elvira Herrera, Gilberto Emilio (Elisa) Herrera, Ernesto (Claudia) Herrera, Emanuel (Erica) Herrera; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; partner in life, Kike Tovar; siblings, Felix (+Juanita) Martinez, Jesus (Irma) Martinez, Rosa Maria (+Eduardo) Ramirez, Ofelia (+Inez) Murillo; sister-in-law, Maria Martinez; brother-in-law, Jesus Hinojosa, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity (90 people) at a time. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn. Similar or more stringent guidelines are likely applicable at the church and cemetery.
