Alicia G. Castro

Alicia G. Castro, age 80, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. She was born to Mariano and Sofia H. Garcia, who preceded her in death.

She is preceded in death by her beloved children, Vicente Castro III, Katherine Denise Castro; parents, Mariano & Sofia H. Garcia; siblings, Hector Garcia, Elida Guerrero (Eusebio), and an infant sister.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving son, Jaime Alberto Castro (Marietta); grandchildren, Jaime Flores, Vicente Castro IV (Chelsea Rose Beckwith), Diandra Castro, Sandra Castro (Ernesto Alvarez Jr.), Alejandra Castro (Eliazar), Brandon Michael Rodriguez, Chelsea Nicole Fletcher (Ryan), Leonardo Alberto Castro, Marla Sofia Castro, Monica Denise Castro, Amanda Jaqueline Castro, Roberto Mariano Castro; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Roberto Garcia (Andrea) and Laura Garcia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 5 to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm.

Visitation will continue on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 7 to 10am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Liturgy Service will be held at 9am.

We will be departing the funeral home chapel at 10am to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery for a graveside service at 10:15am.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Jaime Alberto Castro, Leonardo Alberto Castro, Roberto Garcia Jr., Heriberto Garcia, Jose Luis Garcia, Ernesto Alvarez, Vicente Castro IV, J.C. Longoria, Ezequiel Gael Alvarez, and Roberto Mariano Castro.
