Abel Martinez

Abel Martinez, 79, was called by the Lord on March 19, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Martinez & parents, Florencio and Josefa Martinez.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Abelardo (Veronica) Martinez, Ludivina (Jose) Villarreal, Josie Martinez, Humberto (Maria) Martinez, Diana Laura Martinez, Leticia Martinez (Jose) Cano, Alberto Martinez, & Abel Eduardo (Ericka) Martinez, numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 5pm to 10pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a Prayer Service will be held at 7:00pm. Funeral services held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 9:30am. The funeral home will open at 7:00am. Interment will follow immediately after the service at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Humberto Martinez, Alberto Martinez, Abel E. Martinez, Greg Garza, Eric Garza, Kevin Garza, Humberto Martinez Jr., Jose Daniel Villarreal & Jose Luis Villarreal.

Honorary pallbearer will be: Abelardo Martinez.
