Hector Pablo " Don Queto" Hernandez

Hector Pablo “Don Queto” Hernandez, 84, on Monday, May 6, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Hernandez was a U.S. Army Veteran stationed in Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas who served in the Korean War.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino & Herlinda Hernandez, brother, Jose Antonio Hernandez, sisters: Andrea Molina and Ofelia Fraga, grandson, Hector Manuel Hernandez.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 year  Manuela Hernandez , children, Hector (Myra) Hernandez, Jaime Joel (Mily) Hernandez, and Adriana Aracely (Jesse) Castañeda, siblings, Eustolia Sida, Maria Luisa Perales, and Elena de la Cruz (Refugio) Garza, sister-in-law, Estela Hernandez. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. Funeral home opens at 7:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Hector Hernandez, Jaime Joel Hernandez, Rene Raul Hernandez, Jesus Castañeda, Hector Hernandez Jr., Jaime Joel Hernandez Jr., Steban Hernandez & Jesus Castañeda Jr.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
